Paul Markwardt is the Engineering Manager for the Bone and Metabolic Health business segment for GE Healthcare Women's Health business. In this role Paul leads a global engineering team to design and develop innovative products to diagnose osteoporosis and metabolic health diseases. Paul brings a wealth of experience with a solid background across engineering and clinical applications in DXA technology. He started his career in 1988 as a Software Research Engineer for Lunar Coporation and held various engineering roles within Lunar and later GE Healthcare focused on developing clinical applications and technology strategy for DXA products. As a proven innovator, Paul has filed 10 patents and co-authored numerous papers in the DXA field. He holds an advanced degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Madison.
