Halley Wasserman is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center where she also serves as the Director of the Metabolic Bone Disorders Clinic and Scientific Advisor for the Bionutrition and Body Composition Core Laboratory. Her clinical and research interests include optimizing care for children with disuse osteoporosis and other forms of skeletal fragility. She was the principal investigator of clinical trials assessing the effects of transdermal estrogen on bone, cognition and mental health in adolescent females with primary ovarian insufficiency and is the site PI for international disease monitoring programs for X-linked hypophosphatemia and autosomal dominant hypoparathyroidism. Dr. Wasserman has co-authored 23 original research articles and 3 invited reviews. She was a member of the 2019 ISCD Position Development Conference Pediatric Task Force.
