Claudio Mejia is the Global General Manager for the Bone and Metabolic Health business segment for the GE Healthcare Women's Health business. In this role Claudio leads GE Healthcare’s global strategy and efforts to deliver innovative products to diagnose osteoporosis and metabolic health diseases. Claudio brings a wealth of experience with a solid background across Engineering, product management and business leadership. He started his career in 1993 in invasive cardiology and held various engineering roles focused in developing cathlab and electrophysiology products to diagnose and treat coronary artery disease. In 2016, Claudio joined the Bone and Metabolic Health business. As a proven innovator, Claudio has filed 15 patents and several have been incorporated into commercial products. He holds an advanced degree in Electrical Engineering in Digital Signal processing from the University of Kansas (USA) with a specialization in Artificial Neural Networks and an MBA from Loyola University in Chicago, IL (USA) with a specialization in Strategy and Finance.
