Activity Description

This on-demand module will explain why using least significant change to interpret bone mineral density is a professional standard and provide associated documentation.  Additionally, step by step instruction on implementing and performing a precision assessment in clinical practice is described.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Explain why precision assessment is necessary to care for patients
  2. Obtain a comprehensive understanding of the process to implement a precision assessment
  3. Perform a precision assessment in your practice

  5. Use LSC to determine BMD change when interpreting exam results

Instructions:

Clinicians and Technologists are required to answer a set of online test questions following the review of the video and will have up to three attempts to answer questions correctly before losing credit for the activity.
