"CHARTING THE EVOLUTION OF MUSCULOSKELETAL HEALTH," 30 + YEARS OF INNOVATION IN BONE DENSITY TECHNOLOGY AND BEYOND

The International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD) Technologists Symposium aims to educate skeletal health professionals on the importance of taking the results from translational ideas and research to quality outcomes for their patients. This timely and relevant education will enable technologists to better perform their job functions while gaining a broader understanding of their day-to-day activities and responsibilities.

Symposium Overview
The International Society for Clinical Densitometry is proud to present a first-of-its-kind educational program specifically targeted to our technologist community, comprised of educational lectures developed and delivered by technologists in the field. The 2024 Technologists Symposium will offer up to 16 hours of ASRT-accredited education, virtually, over two days in March 2024. Topics will include the application and technical difficulties of advanced imaging, how to perform quality DXA total body composition scans, L-Spine inaccuracies such as osteoarthritis and aortic calcification, bone densitometry in special populations, as well as the basics of both Hologic and GE DXA machines and their capabilities. This timely and relevant education will enable technologists to better perform their job functions while gaining a broader understanding of their day-to-day activities and responsibilities.

Target Audience
This symposium has been designed to meet the educational needs of DXA technologists and professionals involved in bone density testing.
